Mary’s Woods Home Care Services is a licensed Home Care Agency serving residents at our premier continuing care retirement community in Lake Oswego, as well as clients in the surrounding areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Mary’s Woods Home Care Services provides clients with services ranging from direct care giving and assistance with Activities of Daily Living to help with household affairs and transportation, all with an eye for supporting independence, dignity and well-being.
  • All shifts available - full time, part time & on callEmployees of Mary’s Woods Home Care Services work on an hourly basis and are scheduled to work assignments within an employee’s availability based on requests from our clients. Scheduled hours may vary week to week based on the needs of our clients.

Wages start at $13.50-$15/hour DOE with opportunities to increase based on performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Positive, cheerful personality with a heart for elder care;
  • Good attendance;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Current Oregon or Washington Driver’s License with clean driving record, reliable transportation, and willingness to transport clients in your vehicle;
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, active environment;
  • Ability to make at least a one-year commitment to our Home Care program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months hands-on care giving experience, preferably with seniors – OR -- Current C.N.A.   Certification through OSBN. 

Must meet all pre-employment requirements including: drug and alcohol testing, State & Federal criminal background investigation, a TB test, and reference inquiries.

To make our services as flexible as possible, our clients have the option of selecting the length of their appointments, from one hour to twenty-four. When residents select short appointments, we make every effort to assign them to caregivers who are already on campus, or schedule multiple “short shifts” into a block of time for an employee.
